CHILDREN & YOUTH MINISTRIES

Visiting with small Children? Welcome!

We believe children are not the church of the future; they are a part of the present church. Without children present our church is incomplete. As such, we encourage children to be an active part of worship; this is where they learn the most about the Christian family - by experiencing it! So encourage your child to sing along, clap, wiggle, place coins in the offering plate, offer prayer requests, and come forward for communion.

We welcome the giggles, squeals, and movement of our children during worship! Some parents find sitting nearer the front allows your child to see more clearly and participate more fully. We have children's bulletins, books, and activity bags located in the back of the sanctuary available to help keep them busy. For those times when simply a break is needed, a room is available on the first level at the end of the educational wing hallway. Most importantly remember: ALL are welcome.

Church School

We offer childcare in the nursery for babies and toddlers (year round) and church school classes for students in preschool through 6th grade (September - June). Older youth are encouraged to participate as a helper or assistant.  All children and youth start in the worship service and participate in a lesson on the chancel steps after which they are dismissed to their classrooms.
